The hand-forged EN45 high carbon steel blade features a distinctive broken back seax shape, offering historical accuracy. The bone grip is polished, etched, and adorned with beautiful Norse motifs on both sides. The handle terminates towards the blade with a brass collar, and the butt cap, also made of brass, includes a convenient eyelet with a generously sized brass ring for threading a lanyard or drawing the knife from its sheath (lanyard not included).
The Viking seax comes with a thick, ornate vegetable-tanned leather sheath adorned with hand-tooled Norse knotwork designs. Antiqued brass fittings, including rivets, a reinforcing plate, and two elegant hanging rings shaped like coiled serpents, complete the sheath.
While the blade's edge is not sharpened, it is suitable for display, collectible purposes, or as a prop. Please note that this Viking knife is not intended for combat reenactment, as the blade's point is not rounded.
Each piece is fully handcrafted, ensuring its uniqueness. Variations in color and grain are inherent to the natural materials used, and the ornaments may slightly vary from piece to piece. The knife is complemented by a leather-and-brass sheath, creating a captivating ensemble.
Embrace the spirit of the Norse with this Small Viking Sax Knife, a testament to historical aesthetics and craftsmanship.
