The short, hand-forged high carbon steel blade boasts a distinctive Borre style Norse motif beautifully etched on both sides. The polished bone grip terminates towards the blade with a brass collar, offering an eye-catching and authentic design. The brass butt cap features a steel eyelet with a brass ring, perfect for threading a lanyard or drawing the knife from its sheath (lanyard not included).

The Viking seax comes with a thick, ornate vegetable-tanned leather sheath adorned with a hand-tooled braid/plaitwork pattern. Reinforcing bone scales, brass rivets, and two brass hanging rings in the shape of coiled serpents complete the sheath's design.

While the blade is unsharpened, it is fully functional, making it suitable for everyday use if sharpened accordingly. However, please note that this Viking knife is primarily designed as a collector's or decoration piece. The blade's point is not rounded and is not suited for combat reenactment.

Experience the craftsmanship of the Viking Age with this unique Small Viking Sax Knife, a testament to the rich history and artistic flair of the Norse people. Each piece is fully handcrafted, ensuring its uniqueness, and variations in color and grain are inherent to the natural materials used.
